I am so grateful to be a part of this beautiful film. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to act in the film as well as co-produce. This wasn’t my first collaboration with writer/director, David Ashton, and it won’t be my last! Read the Alexandandria Times article about The Legacy Sessions.

The Legacy Sessions
A SHORT FILM
A troubled high school student forms an unlikely friendship with a woman in a retirement community.
VOICE
PATSY RODENBURG ASSOCIATE (PRA)
Most of us enter this world with effortlessly powerful and effective voices, and a free and open presence, ready to connect with the people around us. The “slings and arrows” of life can cause us to develop habits that sometimes cover up that free and natural state. Many of these habits allowed us to adapt to our life circumstances at the time, but they no longer serve us.
Through Rodenburg exercises and elements of martial arts training, Silas aims to help his clients rediscover their most effective way of breathing and speaking.
Silas received a BA in Theater Studies from Guilford College and holds certificates from the Studio Acting Conservatory and the Patsy Rodenburg Master Teacher Certification Program. Silas recently joined the faculty at Studio Acting Conservatory in Washington, D.C.
Silas works with anyone who wants to use their voice and presence authentically and effectively. He is available for private voice and presence coaching, workshops, and for productions.
